Hiding under my monster’s bed

I am slowly eating fast food
While I hear the birds singing
ladadadadada
Such a painful combination

Climbing my way home up the hill
Counting steps and trying to walk
In one line I think I manage
Almost reaching my doorstep

What the hell the couch is moving
The piano is playing backwards

The plants are watering me
The sun shines at our feet
The furniture’s crawling slowly up the roof

Dancing on the ceiling
Will i fall up or down

My mirror is not amused
by the view of my untidied room
The clock only tells the time that was

When darkness falls in my house and it is time to sleep, the lamp in my head switches on
The books want me to read them tales
And the spider prepares its first human kill

The past knocks at my door but I’m
deaf to certain pages of my histo-
ry book I’m blind to Future ́s waving
hand behind the window

I have to attack this monster
But when I fight him he sweetly
whispers into my ear
‘The more you ban the more you want it’
